• Is AltProperties a real estate agency?

  No. AltProperties does not source properties or act as a real estate broker. We facilitate the transaction once you have identified the property you wish to purchase.

• Can I buy real estate directly with cryptocurrency?

  Yes. Our infrastructure enables you to pay directly in crypto. We handle the conversion and settlement so the seller receives funds in their preferred currency with next-day finality.

• Do sellers need to accept cryptocurrency?

  No. Sellers receive fiat currency or stablecoins per their preference. Our on- and off-ramp services handle the conversion transparently, so you pay in crypto regardless of what the seller accepts.

• Which cryptocurrencies can be used?

  We support Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT, USDC and most major altcoins. If your preferred asset is not listed, contact us — we assess each case individually.

• How does AltProperties determine the cryptocurrency-to-FIAT conversion rate?

  We use live market rates from institutional liquidity providers at the moment of settlement. The rate is locked at transaction confirmation and disclosed in full before you proceed.

• What compliance checks are required?

  We conduct standard KYC and AML verification on all parties. Our compliance team manages the process end-to-end, coordinating with local legal counsel to meet jurisdiction-specific requirements.

• How does the process work?

  You book a consultation, identify your property, and we structure the transaction. We handle legal coordination, KYC, crypto conversion, and settlement — you sign the documents and we manage the rest.

• How long does a crypto real estate transaction take?

  Typically 7–21 days from signed agreement to settlement, depending on jurisdiction and due diligence requirements. Fund settlement itself achieves next-day finality once legal completion occurs.

• Which wallets are supported for cryptocurrency payments?

  We work with all major self-custody wallets (Ledger, Trezor, MetaMask) as well as institutional custodians. Funds are transferred directly from your wallet — no need to move assets to a third-party exchange.

• How much does AltProperties charge?

  Our fee is a percentage of the transaction value, discussed and agreed during the initial consultation. We operate on complete fee transparency — no hidden charges or undisclosed conversion spreads.

• Can I buy property anywhere in the world?

  We facilitate purchases globally, with strong networks in UAE, EU, Switzerland, Southeast Asia and the Americas. Our advisory team covers over 40 jurisdictions.

• How do you manage cryptocurrency price volatility?

  We offer stablecoin settlement options to eliminate volatility risk. For volatile assets, the conversion rate is locked at a defined point in the transaction process, agreed with all parties in advance.

• Are payments guaranteed?

  Yes. Funds are held in escrow via our blockchain-based payment infrastructure until all legal conditions are met. Full on-chain transparency means all parties can verify the status at any point.

• Does AltProperties help with cross-border currency conversion and settlement?

  Yes. Cross-border settlement is a core part of our service. We manage the full conversion flow — crypto to fiat or stablecoin — across jurisdictions, with compliant banking infrastructure in place.
